To get going quickly with Handy Drums plugins, first make sure you have installed the plugins you intend to use on either Windows or macOS.

Before using the plugin, you must authorize it by entering the serial number (license key) you received with your purchase.

Every time you load one of the Handy Drums that has not been authorized with a license key, either as a plugin inside a DAW or the standalone app, the following prompt will be displayed. This is where you’ll enter the provided license key.

Copying and pasting the license key #

You will locate the license key directly in your GoranGrooves Library account, where you downloaded the software.

Copy the license key by pressing the copy button in the corner of the license key. Your license key will be copied to the clipboard, which you can then paste into the appropriate field in the software and click the “Authorize” button to permanently unlock the plugin.

If you are already running the software in free trial mode when you copy the license key, you must close the software and reopen it (either reload your DAW session or close the standalone app, then re-open it) for the authorization dialog to appear again. There, enter the license key you copied to your clipboard in the previous step.

If you purchased a plugin bundle, you will receive a single license key. Entering the license key into any Handy Drums plugin will unlock all Handy Drums plugins contained in the bundle you have installed on your system. You will not need to authorize each one individually.
