Each instrument comes with enough dynamic levels to produce a believable performance on your guitar pedal drummer.
A human ear can intuitively tell the difference between the same snare sample played repeatedly and a real drummer playing a snare drum. When a drummer strikes a drum, each sub-sequential stroke is slightly different from the one before, no matter how consistently they are played.
We sampled each drum and cymbal numerous times at various dynamic levels to solve this. Then, during playback, samples are swapped, and a different sample is triggered for each hit.
