The “Jazz Brushes” drumset for BeatBuddy is designed to bring the smooth, soothing sound of brush sweeps to your performances. This drumset features carefully Jazz-tuned drums that capture the subtle nuances of jazz, making it an ideal choice for musicians seeking a softer, more delicate touch in their rhythm section.

While this kit is tailored primarily for jazz ballads, its versatility extends to a broader range of musical styles. Whether performing in an intimate setting or crafting a laid-back groove, the “Jazz Brushes” drumset provides an excellent foundation. The gentle sweeps and soft accents are well-suited for any situation where a lighter touch is needed.

The snare sweeps have been assigned to a MIDI note regularly reserved for a ride cymbal, so MIDI jazz grooves on the ride cymbal will automatically play as gentle snare brush sweep grooves.

This drumset loads seamlessly onto your pedal drum machine, offering a convenient and reliable way to add authentic brush sweeps to your music. With its understated, natural sound, the “Jazz Brushes” drumset complements everything from jazz standards to mellow ballads, providing a consistent, gentle touch every time.

We created MIDI drum beats especially for this drumset to fully utilize it. Check out the Jazz Brushes (beats for BeatBuddy).

ULTRA-REALISTIC DRUMS

Unmatched in drum realism, GoranGrooves’ kits sound like real drums and percussion being played right in front of you in a room instead of a bunch of individual drums sounding in their own isolated spaces.

GoranGrooves’ meticulously crafted drum samples blend science and art, imbuing a unique character that defines the identity of any drum machine or software VI they are played on.

You’ll still get the size and breadth beyond the form factor while keeping within BeatBuddy’s 100MB RAM framework.

An acoustic drumset coming out of BeatBuddy pedal, like Genie from a bottle.

MULTIPLE DYNAMIC LEVELS FOR DRUMSETS

Each drum and cymbal was sampled at many dynamic levels to faithfully capture the instrument’s full dynamic range.

Each instrument comes with enough dynamic levels to produce a believable performance on your guitar pedal drummer.

ROUND-ROBIN SAMPLES FOR DRUMSETS

A human ear can intuitively tell the difference between the same snare sample played repeatedly and a real drummer playing a snare drum. When a drummer strikes a drum, each sub-sequential stroke is slightly different from the one before, no matter how consistently they are played.

We sampled each drum and cymbal numerous times at various dynamic levels to solve this. Then, during playback, samples are swapped, and a different sample is triggered for each hit.
