Each instrument was carefully tuned and treated before percussion expert Kenneth Metzker played at full dynamic range and with every articulation. Everything was captured in minuscule detail using high-definition microphones for true-to-life stereo imaging. Goran Rista meticulously mixed and edited the recordings and mapped them for BB.

MULTIPLE DYNAMIC LEVELS FOR DRUMSETS

Each drum and cymbal was sampled at many dynamic levels to faithfully capture the instrument’s full dynamic range.

 

Each instrument comes with enough dynamic levels to produce a believable performance on your guitar pedal drummer.

ROUND-ROBIN SAMPLES FOR DRUMSETS

A human ear can intuitively tell the difference between the same snare sample played repeatedly and a real drummer playing a snare drum. When a drummer strikes a drum, each sub-sequential stroke is slightly different from the one before, no matter how consistently they are played.

 

We sampled each drum and cymbal numerous times at various dynamic levels to solve this. Then, during playback, samples are swapped, and a different sample is triggered for each hit.
